Fall Fun with the Kinder Bunnies!

Check out what the Kinder Bunnies did during fall! They explored, questioned, and preserved. The Kinder Bunnies applied their mathematical thinking in many settings and activities. They read numerous books including Counting with Owl, Bird by Rebecca Purcell, Counting Numbers 1-20 with Owl for Toddlers by R. Rose, Owls by Gail Gibbons, National Geographic Readers Owls by Laura Marsh, and Sixteen Runaway Pumpkins by Dianne Ochiltree.

With their scientist caps on the Kinder Bunnies planned, asked questions, and found discoveries. They engineered a nest and preserved through challenges. Exploring force and motion they experimented to see if pumpkins roll and how far.

The Kinder Bunnies also engaged in art projects that extended their math engagement. They used math mats, dice, and tooth picks to subsidize, count, add, and subtract. They even did some apple engineering to engage further with their apple themed books!
