Recognize circles and squares all around you- in what you eat, how you get places, and what we pass on the street. Use these pictures from our everyday life to give you examples of common objects that are circular or square.  


Follow Up Questions: What is the difference between a circle and square?


Suggested Activity: Walk around your home or classroom and identify four places you see squares and four places you see circles.


Give child a camera to walk around and take pictures with so they can create their own ‘So Many Circles, So Many Squares’ picture book.
